This topic is about how Autistic people are included in communities. For example, it can cover:
- things that make it easier or more difficult for Autistic people to participate in community activities and groups
- how well people understand Autism and how people treat Autistic people
- whether Autistic people are supported to be themselves
- the choices that Autistic people have, including where and how they live
- the experiences of Autistic people with the justice system
- the experiences of Autistic people with other intersectional identities, such as First Nations people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and people who identify as LGBTIQA+.
This is a space for you to share ideas about what could be put in the National Autism Strategy to help improve social inclusion of Autistic Australians.
